With the closure of most photo developing stores, Fujifilm saw an opportunity to expand its network of photo developing kiosks into DeSerres, a chain of arts and crafts stores.

As smartphones have become the day-to-day camera for many people, many consumers have photos in their phones that they would enjoy printed and displayed.

Idea


Treat photo development as an impulse purchase and co-merchandise with DeSerres’ selection of picture frames. Convey to shoppers how fast and easy it is to print photos currently ‘trapped’ inside the phone in their pocket or purse.

Result


With a significant lift demonstrated in the initial launch store, Fujifilm photo kiosks are being rolled out to the entire DeSerres network of stores. The success of this program has led to these kiosks getting installed in Walmart stores.
